Happy moments of my 2019 October exhibition in Hamburg
I’m feeling particularly grateful to my friends and family for their relentless support and encouragements! My dear artist friend Frédérique helped me make the final choice of paintings to exhibit at the gallery Galeríeka in Hamburg as I was agonizing over which ones to show or not to show. My 9-year old daughter Charlotte also participated in the decision process, clearly voicing her opinion. My beloved husband Martin was instrumental in the installation at Galeríeka (top 2 photos in the photo gallery above).
I’m so happy that my dad (all smiles next to me in the photo gallery) could be the first visitor to my exhibition’s preview, coming all the way from France on his own at 85, taking many snapshots to bring back to my mum who couldn’t make it to Hamburg this time round.
Thank you also to all my supporters who came to the vernissage on 4 October. It felt very special to be surrounded by kind people in these vulnerable moments, particularly as I presented my new « babies » to the world, my 2019 paintings which I’ve now uploaded on my website for your viewing pleasure (click on the image below to view).
